3.1 Preview Video – Part I

***SUPER-DUPER SPOILER ALERT***
Along with all of the announced 3.1 changes this week, the much unexpected Argent Tournament was added to the PTR yesterday! Personally, I knew nothing about this new area, but I was raring to go check out and do some exploring.

Additionally, in this little video I demonstrate the Dual Spec and Gear Manager interface. It isn’t very fancy, but both are very overdue!

    I’m still occupied w/ the live realms and not wanting to deal w/ PTR bugs. Have a couple of questions, wondering if you guys could answer:

    Are dual specs, in fact, 1k like I’ve heard?

    From the looks of it, dual specs don’t require the Lexicon of Power?

    Yep, Dual Spec costs 1K gold at your class trainer. After paying there is an emote that says, “Your mind has been expanded.” or something to that effect.

    Switching from one spec to the other will in fact require a Lexicon of Power. Although, one is not necessary at the moment on the PTR. I am sure that is just for convenience for the time being. Same way that you don’t actually have to ride zeppelins to get to where you want to go, you just talk to the goblin dude and he ports you there. Easy encourages more to participate in the PTR.
