Site Name

Ah, that new website smell is still fresh!  We here at Rawrcast want to officially welcome you to our all-new site!  A lot of people have been spending a lot of time trying to make this site a reality, and I think you can tell from the design to the simple details of the site, that this is a total step-up from what we were rolling with before.  I’m going to give you a quick run-down of the new site and what you can expect to see from us in the coming months as we continue to roll out new and entertaining content all about World of Warcraft. 

• Word Press. Word Press is a definite step-up for us from blogger.  Although Google’s Blogger provided us with some good tools, it is in its very essence a beginner’s tool that doesn’t lend itself well to protracted use within a collaborative blogging atmosphere.  Through WP, we are going to be able to provide a more streamlined user-experience that will help cut down the walls of text that you would find on our old site.  This brings me to my next point…
• Readability. Although the first incarnation of the site read well (especially with the dark background and white letters – a trend we continue to the new site) it did not flow well and as such one found themselves with incredibly long and very narrow reading spaces.  The constant scrolling and small text we had to use made the site too hard on the eyes.  Now we have is a larger font, and a larger blogging space.  This means we can put in higher quality images, include captions, and possibly even make my writing look decent.  (a tall order for sure)
• New RSS Feed. The new feed can be found here.  Whatever one you are currently using is now being routed into feedburner and will do so for thirty days.  After which time, you can expect that feed to close.  So I highly suggest everyone going and updating their RSS whenever they get a chance!
• New Content and Exciting Giveaways! Rawrcast is a continually growing brand and source for views and reviews on the game we love.  On the menu bar on the left we still have our giveaways page that you can find here.  Make sure that you are always checking that for new giveaways and other great things that you can win from Stomp and Haf.  Similarly, we want to continue to provide you guys with the stuff that makes you happy.  We encourage as many comments as you are willing to provide and we will continue to evolve and make Rawrcast the site you want it to be!
