Hey, Blizzard! Where’s my Irish Heritage holiday?

So, Blizzard has given us a many holiday in-game, like Feast of Winter Veil (Christmas), All Hallow’s Eve(Halloween), Noblegarden(Easter), Lunar Festival(New Year’s and Chinese New Year’s), and Brewfest(Octoberfest), but where is my In-Game equivalent of Saint Patrick’s Day? I mean, this is a holiday all about Irish Immigration and where it has moved people to. The United States, Britian, Australia, Canada, Argentina, and New Zealand among many others.
I think that if I can play a game with hundreds of thousands pre-pubescent kids running around Brewfest who are drinking until everything on their little monitors becomes fuzzy, I should get a holiday celebrating the Irish-ness of this world. As it stands, the Irish are responsible for some of the greatest contributions to fairy tales in the world and as such, are always at the forefront of mysterious and magical goings-on when it comes to native folklore and legends. Druids and Shamans both have rich ties to Ireland, as well as Gawain, one of the Knights Of The Round Table, who might be argued as the original models for the Paladin archetype. For anyone who has ever read anything by Aleister Crowley, self-proclaimed English Occultist and Ceremonial Magician, you would do well to know that a lot of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn’s original concepts were born from the work done by the original Druidic Wizards and Shamans. Just saying, Blizzard.
Now, any one that has been to a St. Patty’s Day celebration or read about Colin Farrell and his goings-on, know that Irish has the whole Warrior angle covered already. I just need a beer, a can of spinach, a corncob pipe, and the love of a spindly pipe-cleaner woman before I am ready to do battle with anything in shouting distance. Some might call that a “Drinking Problem”, I call it Irish Genetics protecting me and my pool table. Ireland has game animals. Game animals breed hunters. I’m done there. Unless we’re talking Bambi, then Scotland apparently breeds the deer.
Next up to the plate!!!! Irish Rogues. Click the following and you will see all you need to know about Irish Rogues and their influence on the world at large. Come to think of it, that covers priests too.
All we got left? Warlocks and Death Knights. Hmm…this is a stretch, but at least it gets traffic to this long forgotten arm of the internet……here you go, I give you…IRISH WARLOCK! As for the Death Knights, I know that the Irish have wreaked far worse havoc on the face of this planet than anything Arthas would’ve been able to do with another thousand years and the drive of Eva Peron. Death Knights pale in comparison to this.
As it stands, the Irish have many wide-ranging contributions that cover the world and I am proud to know that I can trace my family name of Crane back to an Irish Merchant back in 1656. I just wish Blizzard would give us our due and have us hang out with our little in-game Leprechaun pet.
