Much love goes out to TheWych of Bind on Equip. The entire Rawr Crew had an amazing time living Rock Star with ya, man. Till next year! #BeacuseHesTheWych
I ran across this while reading one of my favorite hunter blogs, Huntsmanslodge.com. It looks like GC is all spirit-beasted out and looking pretty fricken awesome. It looks like he is a level 85 crab, with HoT and an agl and str buff. It looks pretty, and I can only imagine how much this guy is going to be farmed.
I imagine that this is going to be one of those rare mobs that Blizz turns out on the “Have fun trying to figure THIS spawn out guys.” Like the spirit bear that I still have not tamed, some mobs just don’t seem to have any rhyme or reason to their spawn timers. My money is on this mob getting killed over and over again as hunters compete over him.

Let me start out by apologizing to you, the readers, for my tardiness. The flight home, and nursing my liver took longer then I anticipated. This will be parts 2 & 3 in one shot. If you haven’t read part one yet scope it out here.
I’m sitting on my flight back to Seattle bringing you the readers the finale in this year’s BlizzCon 2010. To recap my day one briefly, I was pretty under-whelmed with Blizzard’s presentation, and I wish I could say day two was a whole ton better. It wasn’t. I’m not the biggest PvP guy ever, back in the later half of Vanilla I did a lot of PvP because I had friends that did it. At the very end portion of Vanilla they switched to the point system from the high warlord grind, and some of the best PvP items of the time had some of the best PvE implications. So while the presentation that Blizzard threw out to the masses of PvP made me want to start doing some arenas, and some battlegrounds, it by no means is my bread and butter. As the title of the article states, it’s the PvE perspective.

Our trip to BlizzCon RULED, and we have it all screenshot – it did happen. As I have time I will be editing and posting pictures YouTube videos, and much more as things are prepared.
We will also begin planning a RAWRCON: BlizzCon Over Beers Rap Up special episode to get together with all of the Rawr Crew represented at BlizzCon. It has been an unforgettable experience.
In the meantime, two very important members of our Rawr Crew, Nolari aka. Jason and Iylara aka. Jocelyn, have been kind enough to take pictures from the BlizzCon Convention floor on Saturday while we were setting up The Raid event. Jason’s a real pro, and I appreciate him sharing his talent. Check them out! Read more…

On site here at Blizzcon 2010 sharing with the Rawrcast community an experience like no other. Day 1 at Blizzcon has come to a close, as most of you know by now, much to the dismay of us all, Blizzard blew it’s proverbial load in the weeks leading up to Blizzcon having already a street date for Cataclysm, and the cinematic trailer. Instead of putting it all out there during Blizzcon, and one has to wonder why? The following is a recap of the events of today. I hope you enjoy. Read more…

So hopefully the fires are all out, the booze is drunk and the sun is coming up over BlizzCon for Day 2 of our coverage! The team and I are going to dig in here in just a bit and live-blog our little hearts out again. There are some great panels coming up today, and I am really looking forward to the WoW Class Q&A coming up! Then there is open Q&A, which I like to say, is the who’s-who among guys-that-look-like-they-live-in-mom’s-basement. But hey, I am sure that we are going to learn a ton of great stuff. Also, I still have lots of lootcards to give away throughout the day, and there are also cards to be given away on location at BlizzCon. Head to Rawrcast.com/live and join the chat, and catch up on the live-blog.
Woaw! 11 hours later we just got back to the hotel after day 1 of BlizzCon!
This is just a quick update to let you guys and girls know how things are going.
I can say Blizzard has really outdone themselves this year. All of the panels have been an absolute blast (especially the WoW Lore panel, although that could be me being slightly biased) and when I say we got hold of some awesome lore details, I mean it. If you didn’t catch the Lore panel at Blizzcon or on the live stream, I’ll make sure to cover everything we heard on Lands of Lore.
In terms of breaking news, there wasn’t a whole bunch this year. Sadly the elusive mystery IP remains unknown, but theres always next year eh? What we did find out however was the last class that will be coming to Diablo 3, the Demon Hunter. Think Sylvanas but with dual wield crossbows, she kicks ass! If you’re at Blizzcon you can give her a whirl.
There is also a bunch of community mods for SC2 that are playable including a Peggle mod which rawks! Of course the latest version of the Cata Beta is playable and I get more and more excited the more I see of it. Apart from that, there are the guys from Razr here, Jinx, Richard. Knaak (who writes some of the WoW books) and TONS of other stuff. Read more…
