Resubbed to WoW: A TOR Review

Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in. That’s the closest to a Pacino impression you’re getting out of me… ever. TOR’s launch has come and gone, dust settled, nerd raging still ongoing and most players are left wondering, “What the hell have I done for this past month?” During Early Access and the couple weeks after, I LOVED this game. Then I hit the grind; before max level! Then once at max level, there’s more grinding. Oh happy day! Just what I’ve always wanted to do, grind against yet another video game. That’s when I resubbed to WoW, shocked the hell out of a few guildies and playing both. Honestly, there’s not enough meat on the TOR bone right now to keep me busy without wishing a flaming bus on Bioware. Where to StartHow do you pick a single straw from an entire haystack? Remember being told there was not a single repeatable quest for the different classes across the entire game? LIES! This only holds true for the class quests. So if you’re leveling an alt, get that spacebar ready to skip the quest dialogue you’ve already done. The auction house? It’s a maze of drop down menus and other selection options without the ability to just search by the name. Its UI is about as untouchable as your sister’s panties when she’s on the rag. And then there’s Ilum, the zone full of dailies to get gear to make yourself more viable in the hard mode flashpoints. It reminds me of the Firelands dailies only in reverse surrounded by ice in a semi-pvp environment. The Molten Front dailies is one of the chief causes of killing WoW for me, and here’s a frosty version of it now. I’d rather bait a crocodile with my manhood than go through that again.
