... WOW has made people spoiled and so it's difficult for people to deal with the new aspects. It's unfortunate really.
it not unfortuate that the player is well educated and want better not a lateral move. Spoiling isnt the right term. when your game pre beta big news is forming guild and allies then you forget to include a guild bank at launch. so thing is lacking
And what new apsects do you speak Voice acted quests, a rail base space combat system star wars shadow of the empire on n64 called they said "meh " Tor stand on it innovation tag but its not lvl lvl lvl grind dailies hey some more lvling dailies then space dailies then oh rank spell upgrades so retro we know. Its not that it a bad game it a post wow game using prewow rules
time is the enemy thinges a beta should haved resolved werent thinges the innovated dont when compare to biowared previous games
I compare Swtor to the best in it catagory Warcraft for the bad and good. Massive population inbalances are negated by a lfg or lfr or the battleground matchig system. Swtor massive pop inbalances are just made worst. grinding is grinding. dailies are some what mandate in swtor mount cost spell cost crafting skills.
now to swtor in the realm of bioware game as a whole a companion system from dragon ages plus the vioce acting of mass effect 1&2 all when no additional fee post purchase. Makes swtor seem very unimagive especailly compared to Mass effect a story that grips you and makes you think all happening before swtor release and conclusion is coming . swtor builds on this stroytelling but it a guest bungalow to bioware mansion

Just have to give it time... all of the issues will be resolved in this 2 month old game in due time. They've been very attentive to issues. Overall though the game is very similar to how WoW was in it's infancy and there's grinding in EVERY MMO.
I've said it a number of times... WOW has made people spoiled and so it's difficult for people to deal with the new aspects. It's unfortunate really. SWTOR will be great and in my opinion it is great already. Yes I'm biased but at 50 I'm having a blast pvp'ng w/ guildies, running hard mode flashpoints (Kaon Under Seige is simply badass). It's challenging and like any MMO is only as good as the people you play with IMO.

i have to says " i called it". it seem bioware developed to in a gameless vacuum or worst choose to throw good mmo base stone to the way side. Guild banks, pvp inbalancing both in classes and faction pop. great stories are great for a single players. but mmo are about the meta story. vioce was the innovation at the expense for core value.Tor luanch at the best possible time to grasp people but tripped and fell short. for want of the game the balance was lost. for want of the balance the faction were lost.f or want of the faction the game was lost . we want a good game not a paid to play beta. bioware makes good games just maybe not mmo's. i beleive that bioware should have taken more time and relased a great game instead of a game that rested on vanilla wow laurels . this game will be a good game in 6-9 months but who will remenber it then. Wow killers go by the wayside so fast. Years of wow we tuaght us what the basic mmo bible is. If u turn for nose at then your wow killer is just a wow speedbump or worst a rift speed

Welcome back.
Somewhere Michael Morhaime is petting his white cat and saying "I knew you would be back.MUHAHAAHAAAAAHAHAA then spins around in his over sized chair.

When your coming back to wow, I know something is wrong with SWTOR. From my 25+ lvls I liked the game but then started hating how it was so lonely and I couldn't see everyone playing, how all the worlds seem to disconnect me from the whole of the player base. Not a bad game but after seeing what Rift got right when competing with the Wow Behemoth, Bioware would have only taken it further with such a rich IP, right? wrong. Oh well, it's still a new MMO and has plenty of time.
